this topic was posted a while ago, but i need a question answered: how prevailent is drug use in the music world. not just in rock music, but more specifically like jazz and fusion?

the topic of vinnie being high on coke during BRMC was brought up by a different person, not me, and several posts were made on the subject. if someones doesn't want to answer then don't.

Everyone settle down here...It is true that there was a thread which showed vinnie playing at a gig and several members concluded that this footage was from the time when Vinnie was a drug user.
Nobody is dirtying his name by associating it with drugs! He simply asked how common drugs are in the industry.

Although I cant give you an exact percentage, I would assume they are pretty common. Probably more than we think. In the rock scene perhaps more than jazz or fusion - I really don't know.

I know that you are not the first Guy asking for this drug thing but why start a topic about drug using Vinnie's name ?

I think that it's tendentious and unhealthy.

Of course there is A LOT of drug in the show business (music, sport, cin?ma,...), nothing new here...
